Goal: To help believers realize men are spiritual beings who were created in the image of God and help them become holy believers who live according to the Word of God
Many people have sought the answers to the following thoughts: "Where do we come from?" "Where are we going?" and "What is the meaning and purpose of our lives?" The world-famous figures such as Confucius, Siddhartha, and Socrates also tried to find fundamental answers to the same questions.
Confucius taught many students with his political and ethnic thoughts based on Ré (仁), which is most often translated as "benevolence" or "humaneness". Siddhartha led an ascetic life to reach the state of nirvana, being set free from the anguish of birth, aging, sickness, and death. Socrates also sought truth in his way and tried to study the true knowledge. But there was no one who could find the fundamental answers or even come close to the authentic truth, and gain eternal life.
The truth, which has been hidden since before the beginning, belongs to invisible and intangible realm of spirit. Only when we understand the amazing providence of God the Creator in creating human beings and cultivating them can we find out the answers to the questions.
1. The Origin of Men
The people of this world argue about the question of which came first, chick or egg. But the question remains unresolved and unanswered among them. However, the Bible provides us with a clear answer. We can answer it because we know God first created Adam and Eve and He arranged for them to conceive a baby by giving them the gametes of spermatozoa and ova.
God explains about the origin of men in Genesis 2:7. It reads, "Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." God breathed into Adam's nostrils the breath of life that contains the power of God and made him a living being.
The process was done in a moment, not over a long period of time. Briefly, Adam was made in the image of an adult, not a baby, from the beginning and he became a living being. Then he progressively learned the spiritual knowledge from God. But the worldly people think that human beings have evolved from some other beings. But it can never be true.
Men are completely different from beings that those evolutionists talk about. Men did not evolve from apes. From the outset, man was made in the image of God and became a living spirit. God Himself created man in His image according to His likeness and breathed the breath of life into the nostrils of man. So, everything in spirit and in flesh that belongs to human beings came from God.
In this sense, men are spiritual beings that come from above. It must not be thought that we are just higher beings that evolved more than other animals. Evolutionists support their ideas with fossils as the evidences. But there is no fossil that connects between species and species, so it is not scientifically plausible. On the contrary, there is a lot of evidence that backs up the work of God's Creation.
For instance, all human beings have the same facial structure and the same location of eyes, nose, and mouth regardless of race. Animals also have a similar structure though they look a little different according to the kind. This is a proof that all of them were made by only one Creator.
Additionally, there is the evidence of creation in that all planets and all things in the solar system work without the slightest error. However, people do not realize this today and they think men evolved from apes, so they do not know where they come from and why they live on the earth. But if we know that we were created in the image of God according to His likeness, we will understand who our Father is, live according to His Word, and try to resemble Him.
You might think, 'I have my father who gave birth to me.' You only think of your biological father as your father. But when you trace back to your ancestors, you will find that your ancestor is Adam. So, we have to know our real Father is God the Father. Our bodies just serve as the instrument for giving birth to children through the combination of God-given seeds of life뾱perms and eggs.
2. God-given seeds of life and conception
God created men and gave man spermatozoa and gave woman ovum so that they could give birth to children. It was not that they could have children by their own ability but God gave them the fundamental seeds of life for child-bearing. The seeds of life carry everything that is needed to make every cell, system and internal organ by the power of God.
The seed is too tiny to be seen with the physical eyes, but the inherent nature including parents' personalities, appearance, and even habits are condensed here in the seed. That is why children resemble their parents not only in appearance but also in personality. If people were solely able to possess the ability to have children, why would anyone ever experience infertility or suffer in labor?
The works of conception and childbirth belong to God the Creator and only He can control it. The modern medicine uses artificial fertilization but this technology itself cannot create sperms and eggs. This is because the power of creation belongs only to God.
Many people in overseas branches as well as members of Seoul Central Church have experienced this work. Many couples in our church had not had children for more than 10 or 20 years and used all kinds of methods to conceive a baby but they were all of no use. But they came to have healthy children after receiving prayer. There are so many who experienced it.
For instance, a couple from Japan came to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's Special Revival Meeting several years ago. They received his prayer, and then they were healed of diseases and received the blessing of conception. This news was spread to many people in Japan and they came to receive Dr. Lee's prayer. Just as they believed they were able to conceive babies. After that they asked Manmin to establish a branch church in their area and the church was built.
3. Nothing is impossible for God the Creator
Even though medicine has developed a lot, it is only by the power of God, who supervises life-related matters, to create life. It does not only apply to the conception of babies. Even those who stopped breathing returned to life, and some people were told by the hospital that they would soon die but they became healthy and normal. By the power of God, many kinds of diseases that cannot be cured through science or medicine or are confirmed to be terminal were completely resolved and healed.
Only the original voice of God, who created the heavens, the earth, and all things in them with the Word and made mankind, can make things out of nothing and perform the works of power with which nothing is impossible.
Romans 1:20 reads, "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." As recorded, God the Creator's power and divine nature are seen in what has been made.
If we try to understand God with our own thoughts or knowledge, we can only achieve within our limits. That is why many people do not believe the Word of God in the Bible. Some people believe but they do not believe 100% of the Bible.
Jesus knows the heart of people, so Jesus said in John 4:48, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe." By performing countless powerful works everywhere He went, He proved that His Words are true.
The same applies today. There is nothing impossible for God. As we believe in God the Almighty from the depths of our hearts and rely on Him completely we will receive solutions to all kinds of problems and the healing of diseases. When the original voice that created the heavens, the earth, and all things in them is issued forth, the blind come to see and the lame jump and walk throwing their crutches and abandoning wheelchairs.
Therefore, I hope you will believe God's original voice has caused all creatures to exist and obey the original voice of God that is issued forth so that you can receive answers to your prayers and heart's desires.

Fallacy of Evolutionism
Evolutionism insists that human beings evolved from the same ancestor of apes. Evolutionists named many fossil pieces assumed to be beings in the transitional middle stages evolving from apes into men. But the evidences are tenuous so the fossils are considered just fabrications of the hypothesis. There can never be animals in transition between being apes and becoming men. Evolutionism is just a pedantic theory and with hypothesis based on imaginative speculation. |
