During the early period of the church, various gifts were given to the members of the Church of Corinth. Among the gifts were prophecy, healing, and speaking in tongues. However, there was a problem. Those who receive gifts boasted about them and troubles rose between the members. The apostle Paul sent a letter to solve this problem. This was about the spiritual love recorded in First Corinthians chapter 13. All gifts are good but they become perfect when they are used with love. This love that covers someone's faults and can even go so far as to give life is the greatest gift.
