Looking at a honey jar at home, a boy is patiently overcoming a desire to eat it remembering that his mother told him not to eat it. His friend visited him and said, "Just eat some. If you scoop carefully, your mom will not know it." The boy ate some, but he was still caught by his mother. He made an excuse blaming it on his friend. However, had there been not honey but poison in the jar, would he have been tempted by his friend? No. It was he who wanted to eat it. When something goes wrong you must not blame others but look back upon yourself (Proverbs 12:22).
