'Charis' is the Greek word for grace, and it denotes joy and a gift. When we receive grace without any cost to us, we are full of thanksgiving and joy. Some people forsake grace they have received and others remember and pay back the grace without fail. The Bible clearly tells us about the fruit of deeds of repaying kindness. One day, Jesus healed ten lepers but only one of them returned to Jesus to give glory to God and thanked Him. This man received salvation and he was blessed to possess Heaven (Luke 17:12-19).
