Pleasing aromas from flowers naturally make people good. Perhaps that is why the practice of removing bad odors at tourist attractions or other public places with the use of flowers or artificial means has become commonplace today. No matter how pleasant the aroma of a flower or how exquisite a perfume may be, however, neither could be compared to the scent of love stemming from the depths of an individual. As much as we cultivate and take ownership of the love of Jesus Christ in our heart – who took up the cross for sinners and is forgiving without an end to this day – the same beautiful scent of love will be reflected on our face, in our words, and in our deed.
"[W]e are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing" (2 Corinthians 2:15).
