During the time of Noah, God gave people many chances to repent before He decided upon the judgment of flood. However, there was no one except for Noah's family who turned away from their ways of sin and evil. Noah and his family all entered the ark. God then still gave the other people seven days more. These seven days came from God's compassion because He wanted to save anyone as long as that person turned from his way of sin. Then finally, the judgment of the flood was carried out. In this we can see that up to the very last moments the God of love desires for all people to be saved.
