When you preach the Gospel, you may meet people who say that they will live in faith after they are able to gain a little more faith. Do you think it is possible? For instance, suppose there is a student who spends most of his time just hanging out. Even if he tries very hard to do some last minute studying before tests, how could he really expect excellence as a result? It is the same as life in Christ. Faith is not given in a day. You never know what will happen to you tomorrow. Thus, those who long for eternal life in Heaven do their best in every moment of their lives on this earth.
"...obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9).
