When Jacob fled from his brother, Esau, and lived in his uncle's house, he was uncomfortable about his uncle Laban because he cheated him several times. However, from a different point of view, Laban accepted Jacob who had no place to stay and through him Jacob formed a family. If Jacob had realized the grace, he might have undergone the trial for a shorter time. On the other hand, Joseph, his son, always felt grateful to his master who accepted him although he was put in a desperate situation as a slave. As a result, however, after a short while under God's blessings, he was able to become the second in command under the Pharaoh of Egypt.
