When you eat a fish that has been contaminated with heavy metals, it does not mean you will immediately fall into bad health. But if you continue to have contaminated fish, heavy metals will be accumulated in your body and finally damage you. The same applies in our faith. You will not immediately fall into worldly pleasures just because you choose them once or twice. But if you keep seeking worldly pleasures, you will increasingly become addicted to them. It is like a small hole in the bank of the river. The hole eventually causes the whole bank to collapse. In the same way, you must not think little of whatever seems trivial but astray from the truth.
