Those who have heard many horrible stories since childhood are apt to be surprised at a trivial thing when they see a horror movie or they are alone at night. The more they try not to think about horrible things, the more those thoughts haunt them. Yet, when we live in the light, the evil spirits cannot touch us because God protects us. Rather, they are afraid of us because of our spiritual light. If we know about this fact, our feelings of evil spirits change, so we are not afraid of them any more. In this manner, when we learn about other people or foreign cultures, if we think about them by the words of God, we can have good feelings, and our heart of understanding and forgiveness can broadened.
