Everyone lives a life with his own desire. But the desire or dream we have on earth is like a mist that appears for a while and then vanishes. Even if we gain wealth, fame, and prosperity with our efforts, enduring pains and sweat, it will all be in vain at the end of our lives. King Solomon who enjoyed the greatest wealth and fame confessed at the end of his life, "Meaningless! Meaningless! Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless. What does man gain from all his labor at which he toils under the sun." A true desire is the hope for heaven and the everlasting blessings there. The desire is something that will never disappear forever. Whoever receives Jesus Christ as his Savior can have this true desire.
"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?" (Matthew 16:26)
