In volcanic areas in Japan are parcels of land on which you can see green leaves and such tropical fruit as oranges even in the middle of winter months. Due to the subterranean heat in the land in which trees have taken their roots, the plants can withstand the winter gusts. At times we place blame on the poor conditions and circumstances around us. At such times, the place at which we take our roots will determine whether or not we overcome those conditions and circumstances. People who have taken their roots of faith in Jesus Christ lead lives full of energy like evergreens.
"Remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you" (Romans 11:18b).
