There lived a very poor official in an ancient country of China. He and his family had to starve due to extreme poverty and a neighbor of his told it to an official in the higher position. Soon the governmental office sent enough food to the poor man. The man, however, sent back the food to the office and told his wife who asked him why. "The higher official sent this food without checking as soon as he had been told. If somebody had told him I was wrong, he would have believed it." We should be careful in everything and be prudent in receiving something or doing something. Which do you think is more trustworthy, a man who checks everything and is prudent on all his deeds and a man who is impatient and does something in a reckless way so that makes mistakes?
"Also it is not good for a person to be without knowledge, and he who hurries his footsteps errs." (Proverbs 19:2)
