It is said that if you really want something bad enough you will get it. Of course, nothing can be gained by sitting back and just hoping without doing something to make it happen. If you eagerly want something then the desire must be followed by action. The apostle Paul earnestly desired the heavenly kingdom. After God showed him Heaven early in life (2 Corinthians 12:2-4), it was so beautiful to him that he left all his wealth, authority and knowledge behind and devoted himself only to spreading the Gospel. As a result, he apostle Paul became an exceedingly great man in the heavenly kingdom that he had so eagerly desired.
