Some people feel troubled because their supervisors are hard to please. No matter how hard you worked there are supervisors who might say, 'Is this all that you could get finished?' And a natural response would be, 'It was difficult.' But things will change if you change your attitude by the way you think. If you believe that such a fussy supervisor is doing you a favor so you can foster greater ability, you will be able to enjoy your work. It is not the circumstances in life that is important, but the attitude of gratitude to make changes in life.
"Servants, be submissive to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are unreasonable" (1 Peter 2:18).
