Recently, a former chairman of a world famous global group said, "If things go wrong, our company can also become a 'mom-and-pop shop' within 10 years." It means that you may fall behind unless you try constantly. This can be applied to our religious lives. You must get rid of complacent thoughts such as "I'm okay as I keep the Sabbath, offer tithes and pray." We must go forward unceasingly like the apostle Paul who constantly tried to accomplish the kingdom of God by leading more souls to the path to salvation, having 'not yet laid hold of it' although he had served faithfully with all his life 'reaching forward to what lies ahead' (Philippians 3:13-14).
