It's well-known that anger is harmful to our health. The Bible also tells us to be slow to anger. It doesn't mean that you have to be slow to anger by pressing down anger for a moment, and then let it burst out. It really means that you must get rid of such feeling of anger. Above all, you have to put yourself in others' shoes before you become angry and change your thinking into a good and positive way. If you become slow to anger once and twice in this way, the strength to get rid of it will come upon you.
"He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city" (Proverbs 16:32).
