In a marathon race, keeping up the pace is very important, so important that it can decide victory or defeat. The same applies in our Christian lives. The secret to keeping up our pace well is not being unreasonably greedy. Apostle Paul accepted the Lord later than His other disciples, but he didn't have any desire to impatiently advance ahead of others. Nor did he do things by his ability or by his own plans. He just quietly tried his best in the Lord's guidance. As a result, he was able to become one who is really great in Heaven.
