A painter often had disputes with other painters who did not understand his painting style. One day when a friend of his stooped down to touch his painting that had not been dried yet, he stretched out his arms to stop his friend from spoiling the picture. The friend quite unexpected said, "You are very considerate, but it is all right because I am wearing gloves." The painter realized an important thing that each individual could have different opinions about the same thing. Since then, the painter has broadened his mind toward those who did not understand his paintings. Just as this painter could accept many people뭩 opinions when he broadened his mind, we can accept everybody in the same way when we have the mind of Christ. It is said in Philippians 2:5, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus."
