"God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them."
(Acts 19:11-12)

Today, God is greatly showing wondrous power through Rev. Jae-Rock Lee, like He worked through Paul the apostle. During the time of the Early Church, believers took handkerchiefs and aprons which had touched Paul to the sick. Their diseases and illnesses were healed and demons left. Likewise, we are witnessing wondrous works of power even today. Pastors and believers are taking handkerchiefs on which Rev. Jae-Rock Lee prayed to the sick, and many diseases or illnesses are getting healed. Blind men are coming to see, mutes are coming to speak, and demons are being driven away. Through the handkerchief prayer, not only in Korea, but also in overseas crusades many people are getting healed and giving glory to God.
To publicize and prepare for the "2001 Philippines Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade", which will be held in September, "Philippines Aklan state and Manilla 3 cities Tour Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade" was held from July 23 to 26. Many works of power took place and many people glorified God greatly.

Philippines, an Island Country Waiting For God's Hands With the Spiritual Thirst

Philippines is an island country consisting of more than 7000 islands, with 80 million people. It is 300,000 square kilometers in area, which is 3 times bigger than South Korea. Gloria Aroyo, a female president's government is in power and its capital is Manilla which has a population of 10 million people.
85% of total population is Roman Catholic, and the official languages are English and Tagalog. There is a big disparity between the rich and the poor; 75% of the population is considered to be in poverty, and only 5% of the population and 1% of Chinese have the economic and commercial power and the whole nation's wealth.
It has many political and economic problems and is getting degenerated ethically including homosexuality and so on. It is in desperate need for God's hands of salvation. In order to save Filipinos with holiness gospel and God's power, missionary Seung-Hwan Bae was dispatched to Philippines in December, 1999 and missionary Chan-Hyung Cho also was dispatched on November 5, 2000.

"2001 Philippines Manilla Crusade with Rev. Jae-Rock Lee" Executive Committee organized

Philippines church leaders have seen holiness gospel and works of God's power and continually requested Rev. Lee to lead a crusade.

Rev. Johnny Galios, the president of Philippines Aklan Evangelization Association was much moved by Man-min Joong-ang Church and spiritual leadership of Rev. Jae-Rock Lee. He, in corporation with other Filipino church leaders, wanted "2001 Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade with Rev. Jae-Rock Lee" to be held.
So the executive committee of"2001 Philippines Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade" was organized. With Rev. Gregory Durante, a key member of Philippines Manilla Church Leaders Association, as the president of the executive committee, they are holding the conference and crusade with Rev. Jae-Rock Lee as the only speaker, from September 26 to 29.

"Philippines 3 cities Tour Crusade" was held to arrange the Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade

Reception Dinner Party at CAP Center in Kalibo

To lead Philippines 3 cities Tour Crusade for publicity and preparation of the Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade, the delegation of 12 members left for the Philippines. When they arrived at Kalibo airport, Rev. Johnny Galios, the president of the Philippines Aklan Evangelization Church Association and other executive members welcomed them with warm-heart.
The delegation had a worship service at Aklan Church of Assembly of God, which Rev. Johnny Galios has been in charge. Missionary Seung-Hwan Bae preached, and Crystal Singers, gospel song team, sang beautiful priase songs in Tagalog language and moved many local people.
Especially, as soon as deacon Jin-Hong Kim from International Mission Team of this church and members of Crystal Singers prayed for the sick with the handkerchief on which Rev. Jae-Rock Lee had prayed, many people got healed of their disease or illnesses. They testified God's work and gave glory to God.

With great interest and support of Aklan government and local press, Rev. Jae-Rock Lee and the conference and crusade were publicized.

On July 22, the executive committee invited high officers and about 100 church leaders and the delegation to have a reception dinner party at CAP Center, Kalibo. Mayor of Kalibo gave a welcoming statement and Rev. Joong-Won Lee introduced Rev. Jae-Rock Lee and the vision of 2001 Philippines Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade to them.
Especially, Aklan press had a great interest, and the KC TV (Kalibo Cable TV) did a newsgathering about it. Rev. Joong-Won Lee had an interview with KC TV and explained about crusades in Kalibo and Ibahai and publicized World Mission of Man-min Joong-ang Church and Rev. Jae-Rock Lee on TV.
