The 14th 'Saomai' caused a very heavy rain in Dokai and Nagoya, Japan from September 11 and brought an extensive damage. 'Saomai' was very strong to have the central pressure of 945pha and wind speed of 39 meters per second. Shinkansen train service was stopped. The city got disordered. However, after the evening of September 12, the heavy rain stopped and the town became dry. On September 13 when Rev. Jae-Rock Lee and our mission team arrived in Nagoya, the weather was fine and the convention could make a successful progress on September 13 and 15. Nagoya was flooded with heavy rain. Musical Instrument shop that we made an agreement on the musical instruments for the convention also got submerged. So all their instruments were regarded to be seriously damaged. However, two contrabass, timpani, and set drum to be used for the convention were kept dry from the flood. The shop keepers were surprised. If the musical instruments had been submerged, Nissi Orchestra's performance might have become impossible. Whenever we have some event, God shows us a circular rainbow and confirms his covenant. When the delegation of Manmin Joong-ang Church looked out the window in the airplane to Osaka on September 14, they could see triple circular rainbows. And the shadow of airplane was in the rainbow. Both our members and other passengers were surprised. They were full of joy. Japanese Praise Team and Nissi Orchestra, Art Mission, Hallelujah Mission, Sound of Lights, Crystal Singers, Love Dance Mission and Light & Salt Dance Mission had wonderful performance with graceful praises, dancing in the convention. They gave a big glory to God. Eleven deaf-mutes came to hear and speak after receiving the prayer of Rev. Jae-Rock Lee prayed for the sick people, Eleven of them were healed. They were so excited and gave their testimony. The chief editors of "The Christian Daily" and "The Revival Daily" attended the convention. They evaluated it highly saying, "It was very impressive that the words of God were purely proclaimed and the work of creation was done by the living God."
Rev. Seung-Gil Ryu(In charge of Iida Manmin Church) who arranged this convention said, "Arranging this convention, I could feel that God himself prepared all things for the convention. We were all encouraged by this convention and have more spiritual faith. So I'm sure that we can accomplish the Japanese Evangelization greatly which is God's providence." While God the Creator and the message of Salvation were proclaimed during this convention, the Korean Christian Arts of high quality was also spread to Japan. In addition, the remarkable signs and wonders proved that God is truly alive and the Bible is the real word of God. It was a blessed convention in all senses where one could envisage that rthe Gospel will be preached more in Japan in the future and thus many Japanese will come to the salvation of God.
