The Thanksgiving Worship Service was offered on November 15. Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock preached a sermon titled "The Grace of God," based on the Scripture Malachi 3:10 during the Sunday morning service. And at the evening service, he preached "The Flesh and Blood of the Son of Man" based on the Scripture John 6:53-55. The sermon was followed by the Holy Communion.
The Women's Mission decorated the altar with various kinds of crops, fruits, green vegetables and accessory jewels, with a prayerful heart that all church members will come forth as good fruits, fruits shining like jewels before God. The entire Women's Mission became one at heart while decorating the podium for the Thanksgiving Sunday service. The First Women's United Mission brought fruits, the Third Women's Mission brought vegetables, and carefully washed them. The Fourth and the Fifth Missions sorted out the crops such as rice, barley, and black rice. The Second Women's Mission was in charge of organizing the altar.
Domestic branch churches also participated. Some branch churches sent their regional specialties. For example, the Muan Manmin Church sent onions, and Miryang Manmin Church sent apples. And 36 church members from branch churches (East Gwangju, Cheonan, West Pusan, Ulsan, Gumi, Gwangju and Pusan), and mission groups (Men's, Paul's, Mary's, Canaan, Prayer Devotees and Pastors' wives') also participated with offerings for the altar. We pray that God joyfully received all our hearts' aroma and will bless us with more fruits of thanksgiving.
