At 6 PM on last December 17, 2009, year-end party for workers in Yeongdeungpo Detention Center was held in 'Wedding Prince' near Gaebong Station. On this day, our church's Prisoners' Edification Mission (President: Elder Dong-rip Lee) received commendation from Yeongdeungpo Detention Center recognized for its endeavor in correctional service for the prisoners. An official of the Detention Center said that the Prisoner's Edification Mission of Manmin Central Church comforted the hearts of inmates by holding birthday events for them and thereby made a big contribution to their correction and prevention of trouble.
