The First Devotional Service of 2010 Was Offered as the Lord's Servants' Devotional Service



At 3 PM, January 10, during Sunday Evening Service, our church offered the first devotional service of the new year with the Lord's Servants' Devotional Service. This service was presided over by Pastor Soojin Lee, President of Pastors' Association. Following the representative prayer by Pastor Jaesu Choi, President of Yeungnam Regional Assembly, all of the devotees offered praise with a special song that was titled 'Only My Lord', a song that has been given from God. They glorified God with thankfulness for the grace and love from the Lord. And then, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message under the title 'Heaven Is More Precious than Anything' based on the scripture taken from Matthew 25:14-30.
Dr. Jaerock Lee urged the devotees in his message saying, "If you consider Heaven as the most precious possession of all, first of all, your heart should be full of God alone. You have to crucify the flesh with our passions and desires. You must then fill your heart with God, the Lord, the shepherd, and the flock together with the attributes of faith, hope, and love. Secondly, your words should be perfect. You should never speak a word that causes your flock to stumble. You should provide them with strength and hope and life by your words. Thirdly, you must have no adultery in either spirit or body. You have to throw away the sinful nature in the heart completely, and your eyes, heart, language, behavior, and even your dress, that is, everything has to be perfect."
The devotees prepared devotional offerings with their hearts and offered it to God a GCN Mission Offering. And they made up their mind to be dedicated for the kingdom of God until all the souls would receive salvation.
