The 10th Anniversary Celebration of Muan Sweet Water
The Salty Water Turned into Sweet Water and the Works of Holy Spirit were Manifested
Even today, many Christians are visiting this scene of God's power where the sea water was turned into sweet water near Muan Manmin Church located at San 153, Chunjang-ri, Haeje-myoun, Muan-gun, Jeonnam Province.
The miracle of Muan Sweet Water, through which many people around the world have experienced healing and the powerful works of God, was commemorated in the 10th anniversary celebration worship service and other events at the site. On March 4, Muan Manmin Church offered the 10th Commemoration Anniversary Service with the Speaker, Dr. Esther Chung. The service was followed by performances celebrating the site's anniversary. Surrounded by sea, Muan Manmin Church (Pastor Myungsul Kim) had suffered from water shortage. While they eagerly prayed for God's miracle, they experienced their well's salty water being turned into sweet water in March 2000 through Dr. Jaercok Lee's prayer transcending space and time. This was made possible because they believed in the biblical miracle of the bitter water of Marah being turned into sweet water by Moses' prayer (Exodus 15:25) and they prayed with faith. Not only did the water become drinkable water, but also amazing works of power were manifested through the water. Those who drank or applied the water with faith were healed of various diseases and received answers to their desires.
The FDA test results sent to Muan Sweet Water Managing Committee in October 2007
In December 2006, Muan Sweet Water Managing Committee was formed under the leadership of the Committee President, Elder Charles Chung. The excellent quality of Muan Sweet Water was proven scientifically. The Muan Sweet Water Managing Committee sent a sample of Muan Sweet Water to the US Food and Drug Administration (US-FDA) and requested a water quality test. The test results verified that Muan Sweet Water has even more mineral contents than the world-renowned wells of France and Germany. The Muan Sweet Water Managing Committee tries to maintain the water quality by conducting water quality testing on a regular basis, and registered a trademark according to the Korean trademark law. One of the extraordinary things that has been discovered is that the salt water fish and the fresh water fish can co-exist in Muan Sweet Water. Except for a limited number of species, it's impossible for the sea water fish and fresh water fish to live in the same water due to the differences in the conditions of their living environments. But we could see that 400 different kinds of salt water fish such as banded hound shark and the goby can live together with fresh water fish such as carp and mandarin fish in the Muan Sweet Water Aquarium of Manmin Central Church. Currently visitors can see 120 different kinds of fish of the sea and fresh water fish living together in a huge aquarium. To witness this scene of God's power, not only Korean members, but also visitors from overseas have continued to visit this place. This past July, the church also constructed a beach to use it as a resort facility for visitors by spreading sand. With the relocation of Jeonnam Government to Muan, the opening of West Coast Highway, the establishment of Muan International Airport and the development plan by Muan City, the Muan Sweet Water Site is preparing to become a world-renowned spot for visiting Christians.
