Gumi Manmin Churches Offers to God Thanksgiving Service on Occasion of Move into New Sanctuary

13th Anniversary Service at Gumi Manmin Church's new sanctuary

Gumi Manmin Church (Rev. Jesoo Choi, Senior Pastor) offered to God Thanksgiving Service and Senior Deaconess Inauguration Service on the occasion of its 13th anniversary on Sunday, March 14, 2010. During the first part of the Services, Rev. Heesun Lee proclaimed that "In order to accomplish a heart of light, one must first desire spirit, put oneself in the other's shoes, and must not reveal one's ego." There was a screening of a video clip that compiled the footages of church members who had become one, prayed in earnest, and served the church until they could move into a new sanctuary in the second part of the Services. Featured in the third part of the Services were an inauguration ceremony of Deaconesses Hyeyoung Shim, Soonjeom Im, and Myungsoon Shin as senior deaconess, while the fourth and last part of the Service featured special performances by Masan Manmin Holiness Church's Performing Arts Team; Passion Praise Team from Manmin Central Church; Praise Missionary Sunmi Jang; and Pastor Andrew Kim.
Abounding in the faces of members at Gumi Manmin Church were gratitude and joy. The new sanctuary was built not by the hands of ordinary construction workers but by the hands of the church members themselves. Church workers as well as new believers stopped by the church whenever they could to offer help and became one in doing so. Their collaboration resulted in overflowing blessings from Ebenezer God, ranging from promotion at work to financial blessings.
