Manmin Summer Retreat is the stage for the growth of spiritual faith providing various programs including spiritual messages, prayer, praise, and fellowship and the worldwide festival with brothers and sisters from overseas branch churches.

In Korea, the vacation season is coming, while members of Manmin Church are awaiting a chance of God's special grace. The chance is the summer retreat of the church. At the summer retreat, the members experience biblical wonders and signs in the nature, God's creatures, improve their spirituality, and become filled with the Holy Spirit by the Word of God and prayer. This summer retreat is annually held in the late July and the early August. Through the summer retreats, members of each mission come to have the assurance of the fervent hope for the city of New Jerusalem, experience the love and power of God, and share love and fellowship in Christ with one another.
Many members of overseas branch churches also attend the summer retreat held in Korea. This year the summer retreat is expected to bring 300 pastors and brothers and sisters from 13 nations—the USA, Canada, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Israel, Bolivia, Singapore, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and China.
An Israeli pastor Daniel Rozen and his family are waiting for the Men's Mission Summer Retreat with a longing heart, a Japanese brother Sikyo Ryo is saying, "I am preparing for the summer retreat with 40-day vowed prayer. I expect to experience dragonflies' sitting on my body, spiritual speakers' anointed messages, and congregational praises, and visit Muan sweet water site.
What is the reason that many overseas people long to attend the summer retreat that much? Just as it is recorded in Exodus that the Israelites experienced the miracle of manna and quails' coming down from the heaven, many brothers and sisters in overseas countries eagerly expect to see swarms of dragonflies appear and prevent mosquitoes and moths, and want to firsthand witness those dragonflies fly down and sit on their hands and body.
And just as the land of Goshen the people of Israel dwelled in was protected from the Ten Plagues, the place of the summer retreat is separated by the works of God. They have no rain even if a heavy shower of rain is pouring down onto the other areas, and displayed are many kinds of wonders including extraordinary rainbows, movements of stars, unusual temperature, and appearance and disappearances of clouds. Through those wonders, church members become filled with delicate love of God.
The members from overseas countries are scheduled to visit and experience the site of Muan sweet water, where the salty water turned into sweet water by the power of God.
