2010 Students' Sunday School Devotional Service Offered

At the Sunday evening service offered on September 26, Students' Sunday School offered their devotional service, and Speaker Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message entitled 'Exultation of Manmin' based on 1 Corinthians 11:1. In his message, he emphasized saying, "When you look at everything in view of faith, hope, love and goodness, you can overcome any kind of difficulties at present and glorify God in the strength God is giving you," and he asked them "[to] keep your heart and arm it with the truth so that the worldly things may not break in" and "to cultivate faithfulness in everything".

Dr. Jaerock Lee's Books Are on Sale at the Union Bookstore in Singapore

From the late September of 2010, the Union Bookstore in Singapore began selling 8 Simplified Chinese editions of Dr. Jaerock Lee's books—Tasting Eternal Life before Death, The Message of the Cross, The Measure of Faith, Heaven I & II, Hell, The Power of God, and Awaken Israel. In Singapore, the four official languages are English, Malay, Chinese (Mandarin), and Tamil. English has the largest number of speakers among Singaporeans. English is followed by Mandarin Chinese, Malay and Tamil. The English used is primarily based on British English.

The Study Program in Preparation for the Baptism Is Held

In preparation of the coming Thanksgiving Sunday, the Worship Service Managing Department of Manmin Central Church is holding the preliminary study program and detailed study program for baptism. The preliminary study program is held in the second Nursing Room Sanctuary and the detailed study for baptism at the 4th sanctuary. New believers, after attending church for 4 to 5 months and having repented of their sins and harboring a desire to lead a life worthy for children of God, are recommended to study with the preliminary study program for baptism. Meantime, after completing the preliminary study program, they are entitled to baptism according to the constitution of the church on the condition that they have tried their best to grow in spirit and have the assurance of salvation and eternal life. Those who want to study the preliminary study program for baptism and to be baptized should purchase the 'Guidebook for Baptism' at Manmin Bookstore and study it.
