Pastors' Conferences and Handkerchief Healing Meetings in Sierra Leone, Africa
For the three days, Jan. 19th to 21st, Pastors' Conferences and Handkerchief Healing Meetings were held in Shalom Church in Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone, with Bishop Dr. Myongho Cheong, chairman of United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, Africa and ministering pastor of Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya.
Bishop Dr. Cheong gave lectures on 'Why Is Jesus Our Only Savior?' and 'The Providence Embedded in God's Creation and Human Cultivation." A total of about 1,000 people attended the Handkerchief Healing Meetings held in the evening. They received the handkerchief prayer (ref: Acts 19:11-12). Through the prayer, those with poor eyesight came to see well and many people were healed of various kinds of diseases including cancer and after effects of stroke. They gave glory to God.
At that time Bishop Dr. Cheong was invited to appear on the news program of TV SLBC, the Sierra Leone State broadcaster, and was live-broadcasted talking about the ministry of Manmin. At the invitation of Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma, the first lady of Sierra Leone, he also led the special prayer meeting in the Presidential Residence. The Chairmen of Churches in Freetown and Christian leaders attended and prayed there together.
