Freshwater Fish and Seawater Fish Live Together!

The 12th Celebration of Muan Sweet Water, the Same Biblical Miracle as the Bitter Water at Marah Changed into Sweet Water

Manmin Central Church has an aquarium where freshwater fish and seawater fish live together. Actually, it's never easy for them to live together in the same quality water because they usually survive in different water qualities in terms of salt concentration, pH, and longitude and they also have different abilities to adapt to environmental changes.

Nevertheless, in Muan Sweet Water Aquarium next to the second sanctuary's entrance are about 60 kinds of freshwater fish such as carp, catfish, and discus plus around 60 kinds of seawater fish including butterfly, angel, surgeonfish, and gobies. This is the same with the biblical work that had happened during Noah's flood thousands of years ago. In the flood, seawater fish and freshwater fish had to coexist. The identical miracle has been manifested in Muan Sweet Water today.

Muan Sweet Water is also the reoccurrence of another biblical miracle. As recorded in Exodus chapter 15, the bitter water at Marah changed into sweet water as God's answer to Moses' prayer. This Muan Sweet Water is God's gift of love to let us have true faith. (Related stories on page 4)

On March 6, Muan Manmin Church (Pastor Myungsool Kim) had the 12th Muan Sweet Water Thanksgiving Service.

During the first half of the event, Pastor Heesun Lee, General Guidance Pastor of Men's and Women's Mission, Korea, preached the message under the title of 'The Power of the Shepherd' taken from Mark 16:17-20. She said, "We have to proclaim God's power manifested through the shepherd. To do so, we have to attain to the level of spirit and whole spirit." During the second half, Serem Korean Traditional Instrument Team and Power Praise Team gave glory and thanks to God with their performance. The congregation praised together giving glory to God.
