~Vows to assist Manmin on devoting his efforts for world mission ~
Dr. Mikhail Morgulis, Ph.D., Founder and Chairman of the Spiritual Diplomacy Movement launched in 1991 in the United States, and Vice Chairman Rev. Mark Bazalev visited Manmin Joong-ang Church, June 4-12, 2007. Created with aims to resolve international conflicts and issues according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and with mutual respect and love, the Spiritual Diplomacy Movement for the last 16 years has held more than 270 crusades and conferences of various sizes in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. Through gatherings and exchanges with such world leaders including former Soviet Union General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev and the counterparts from the U.S. and Israel, Spiritual Diplomacy has made a tremendous contribution to accomplishing political unity rooted in the Gospel and the love of Our Lord. When a conflict recently arose between the Ukrainian government and the country's opposition party, reconciliation was achieved through Dr. Morgulis' mediation based on his faith in God. Spiritual Diplomacy under his leadership has also been committed to doing good work, such looking after the neglected of the society – including more than 500 orphans in Ukraine – through financial support. In his greetings to the Manmin congregation during the Evening Service on Sunday, June 10, Dr. Morgulis professed, "I am always filled with joy in the Lord. Yet, whenever I visit Manmin, I feel as though I am in heaven. I am going to make every effort in assisting Manmin and my spiritual mentor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee in delivering the gospel of sanctification not just to those in the U.S. or Russia but to all people in the world."
