Epidemic Diseases Such as Ebola Can Be Eradicated by God's Power
Through Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer, swine flu was eliminated in Israel (2009), Ebola virus in DR Congo (2014), and MERS CoV in Korea (2015). When we receive the prayer with faith in the power of God the Creator, we will be blessed for our souls to prosper, for everything to go well, and for us to be healthy.
In the 14th century, the Black Death killed 30% of Europe's population, and in 19th century cholera resulted in deaths of tens of thousands of people. That which caused men to die the quickest and killed the most people was contagious disease.
In 1881, Louis Pasteur developed vaccination, which brought about a revolution in treating epidemic disease. His discovery saved people from many diseases, but today the immune system of men has been weakened due to overdoes of antibiotics. They do not endure even a minor stimulant such as pollen. What if a new strain of virus occurred that is quick to spread and highly fatal?
Then, it would be spread to the whole world and claim countless people's lives even before the vaccination is made. However, with belief in the power of God the Creator, it will be gone.
In September 2014, Sebastien Impeto Pengo, Governor of Equateur in DR Congo sent a prayer request to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. The prayer request read: "Ebola virus is pandemic in Jera area, Boende town, Equateur province. President Joseph Kabila told me to eliminate diseases caused by Ebola virus at any cost. I am asking you to pray for it."
He is a deacon in Kinshasa Manmin Church, and he had witnessed many signs, wonders, and powerful works. With faith, he sent this prayer request.
Ebola virus first appeared near the Ebola River in 1976. It is a kind of a new strain of virus. No preventive vaccine and treatment have been developed. Ebola spreads through human-to-human transmission via direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected people. The average fatality rate is around 50%. Case fatality rates have varied from 25% to 90% in past outbreaks. But there is no treatment.
DR Congo is the first country where Ebola virus occurred. It broke out seven times until 2014. The people were in great fear. In March 2014, the Ebola virus took place in Guinea, Western Africa and it was spread to the whole world. In DR Congo, the first patient was discovered in Equateur in August 2014 and the number infected rapidly increased.
On September 21, 2014, Dr. Lee received the prayer request during his mountain prayer period, and prayed for the Ebola virus to disappear in DR Congo. Afterwards, the death toll dropped dramatically and the Ebola became non-existent in DR Congo.
Governor Sebastian Impeto Pengo said, "After Senior Pastor prayed for DR Congo, the spread of the Ebola virus stopped and no one died of it. We looked more according to medical procedure because of the latent period of the Ebola virus. Then, we finally found out that the Ebola diseases were completely terminated."
On October 24, a member of DR Congo Parliament sent a letter to Dr. Lee, saying, "Thank you for praying for the Ebola virus in Equateur. Thanks to your prayer, the epidemic of Ebola virus stopped without progress."
On November 15, DR Congo President Joseph Kabila publicly declared in the UN General Assembly that the Ebola virus had been terminated in his country.
As Jesus said in Matthew 24, many people are suffering in wars, terrorism, and disasters, or due to newly-discovered diseases and epidemic diseases today. The world will be stuck in more problems because of natural calamities and economic downturn. The symptoms of existing diseases will become more serious, many new strains of viruses will occur. Many newly-discovered diseases will be rampant.
However, God of love, who created all things and mankind, shows His abundant love and almightiness through the works of power. Thereby, He is leading and will lead countless souls to the way of salvation.
