In 2016 Leadership Conference, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee told the attendees that they can understand God's heart and become His true children who can share love with Him only when they understand the depth of love which is the quintessential core of His heart. From July 4 to 6 in 2016, Leadership Conference was held in Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon, Gangwon with Dr. Jaerock Lee as the main speaker under the theme of "The Depth of Love" (Romans 13:10).

The main auditorium Diamond Hall and other ten small auditoriums were filled with pastors, church leaders, and members from in and outside of Korea as well as district, sub-district, and cell leaders. The members from 43 branch churches in Korea attended, and approximately 200 people from 20 countries including USA, China, Israel, Kenya, the U.K., and Japan came and attended. Simultaneous interpretation service was offered for foreign attendees in English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Mongolian, and Vietnamese.

Introducing the seminar, Dr. Lee explained why God gave the theme "The Depth of Love". He said the church members had grown up in faith, but he urged them still to fill up their shortages and deficiencies and reach the depth of the Lord's love through this seminar. Then, he elaborated the deficiencies of love in the people of flesh and the shortages and the deficiencies of love in the people of spirit. He cited some members as examples.

As written in Matthew 22:37-40, all the law have converged into 'love for God' and 'love for neighbors', and all is concluded in love. The quintessence of God's heart is love, and when we understand the depth of His love we can understand His heart and become His true children who can share love with Him. Speaker Dr. Lee talked about this and explained the seven levels of love in depth.

The first step of love is forgiveness in which we forgive someone who cannot be forgiven. We do not set any limitations on forgiveness and do not remember once we forgive. The second step is giving life, in which we set up a proper environment for the person to live and we offer him strength and chances to stand on his own. The third step is patience. It is where we patiently wait for a person to repent, change, and bear fruits. The fourth step is believing that the person will be able to enter New Jerusalem. The fifth is hoping, that is, we watch his one strength although he has ninety nine shortcomings and believe his strength will be enlarged. The sixth step is waiting for him to be renewed patiently though it might take a long time. The seventh step is the one of tears where we shed tears because of pains and sorrow that we experience during the waiting.

Dr. Lee prayed with tears for the members so that they could understand the depth of God's love and achieve that love and thereby be able to share love with Him as His true children and dwell in New Jerusalem that is the closest dwelling place to God.

He also led a Divine Healing Meeting after the seminars each day. He prayed earnestly for the members' souls to prosper, and for them to be healthy and receive answers and blessings. Many people were healed of their diseases including eyesight recovery cases and the removal of a lump on a woman's thyroid.

This 2016 Leadership Conference served as a great chance for Manmin members to understand the love of God, accomplish His heart, and thereby prepare themselves for the explosive ministry of Manmin in the church's third stage of take-off.
