"The fire of the Holy Spirit came down upon me while I was praying. I felt the fire burning every corner of my heart. I repented and came to hate sins. In the grace, I am filled with peace every day," Deaconess Yueun Kim, Gwangju Manmin Church (Photo 1)


"I felt like my body was surrounded by a big flame of fire. I felt the Holy Spirit interceding within me for my sins and burning my sinful nature," stated Sister Euijin Lee of Chuncheon Manmin Church (Photo 2).

In Acts 2, when the Early Church members gathered in Mark's attic,"suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting". They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and started to speak with other tongues.

This kind of work is still happening today. From February 20 to April 2, especially, Manmin members experienced such works more strongly in Special Daniel Prayer Meeting.


"When Mrs. Boknim Lee, President of Manmin Prayer Center, helped my prayer, the fire of the Holy Spirit came down upon me. I felt so good as though I could fly on the clouds. In the Holy Spirit's inspiration I could pray without stopping. I was also healed of backache that had troubled me for two years," said Deacon Huikun Cho, Parish 12 of Manmin Central Church (Photo 3).


"I received the baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit in Special Daniel Prayer Meeting. I am so happy with the fact that I am a daughter of God. I used to feel like I could not live without TV, You Tube, and pop songs, but I no longer need them. I was even healed of scoliosis. I had had a great difficulty sitting still during class because of it but I was healed." said, Sister Koeun Yim, 10th grader of Students' Sunday School (Photo 4).

The baptism of the Holy Spirit's fire is for God's strength to come upon those who received the Holy Spirit. When one receives this baptism of fire, sinful natures are burnt and germs/virus-caused diseases are healed. Forces of darkness are driven away from their households, businesses, and workplaces.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit's fire is given transcending space and time. In addition to the people in the central church, this work occurred to many people who attended Special Daniel Prayer Meeting in the branch or associate churches in and out of Korea via GCN (www.gcntv.org) and the Internet live broadcasting.


"I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit's fire during prayer. I felt cool breeze behind me, but my back was hot like fire. Afterwards, my thoughts changed into positive thought," said Sister Li Meiri from Malaysia (Photo 5).


If one receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit's fire, his/her soul prospers and receives great answers and blessings. Sister Anumol of Chennai Manmin Church, India said, "I failed to get a job for a year although I studied computer engineering in graduate school and graduated. As I prayed during the period of Special Daniel Prayer Meeting, I was blessed to land a job with an IT firm that I had wanted to work for" (Photo 6).


"I have received financial blessing. I often misunderstand others because I had fleshly thoughts. After I received the baptism of fire, I no longer felt that way. I am on the good terms with others," said Deacon Paiwan of Chiang Rai Manmin Church, Thailand (Photo 7).


"I was a contract worker for a government agency, but I was officially hired as a civil servant in the agency and my pay was raised," Brother Samuel Amata, Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church, Kenya (Photo 8).

Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit's fire, many members were given the grace of thorough repentance, realized untruthful hearts that they had not noticed, and cast off old habits. They deeply felt the love of God and thereby came to offer up more thanks and enjoy more happiness.

The baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit that came down upon Manmin members during this Special Daniel Prayer Meeting will lead them to bear the fruit of change and blessings and to accomplish the providence of the end time for countless souls' salvation.
