On April 16, 2017, Easter Thanksgiving Service was offered in the morning, and the Holy Communion was held during Sunday Evening Service.

Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message entitled "Resurrection 1 and 2" taken from Acts 1:11 in Sunday Morning and Evening Services. The services were broadcast live on GCN (www.gcntv.org). During the Hoy Communion, the church members gave thanks to the Lord for His ministry and sacrifice partaking in the bread and grape juice that symbolize the flesh and the blood of the Son of Man.

Waiting for Easter, the members spent Passion Week meditating on the meaning of the cross of the Lord. On Friday, April 14, they offered up a meal-or -more of fasting and gave thanks to the Lord for His suffering, His crucifixion, and the love and sacrifice of the cross.

In the first half of Friday All-night Service which starts at 11 P.M (Korean Local Time), Dr. Lee preached the message, "The Lord's Tears" based on Hebrews 12:2. In the second half, the Easter Performance was conducted by Performing Arts Committee on the special stage set up in the main sanctuary. The Lord's heart was delivered through the performance with six new songs of Manmin Praise including "Tears Cover My Eyes" and "His Heart".

Before Easter, the Women's Mission delivered the joy of the Lord's resurrection by giving decorated eggs, representing the resurrection, to workers around the church and public offices such as Hall for the Elderly, Guro Police Station, Fire Station, and Geumcheon Police Station.
