May is a "Month of Service" during which people express their love and gratitude to people precious to them. Throughout the month, a variety of events take place. On Sunday, May 4, Sunday Children's School offered God "Children's Sunday Memorial Service" in the Second Sanctuary with Rev. Soojin Lee, who proclaimed a message titled "The Devil's Slaves and God's Children" (Romans 6:16). On the occasion of Parents' Day (May 8), Sunday Students' School invited parents to Saturday Praise Service on May 10 and the students shared a time of grace with their parents through role plays and recitations of thank-you letters. The Service served as a forum of discussion during which the parents and their children put themselves in the others' shoes and understood each other.
Following the 2nd Sunday Morning Service on May 11, the Senior Deaconess' Association presented gifts to the elderly over the age of 70 while each parish also spent time of love and joy with the elderly. On the occasion of Teachers' Day (May 15), each mission expressed its gratitude to the Guidance Pastor and the Financial Director. These events have provided platforms of fellowship in the love of Our Lord.

Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation (Habakkuk 3:17-18).
