Galina Plamadeala (Age 45, Moldova Manmin Church)


One day, I thought, "I have been forgiven of my sins and saved. I am justified, so I don't have to try any longer." I didn't feel any need for change. However, when I realized I was getting angry and became jealous just like unbelievers, I began to have questions about why I had to live the way I was living.

I learned all things would go well if I worked hard for God's kingdom. However, my husband kept right on drinking even while he was doing church duties. My Christian life was hard because I couldn't feel any change in my heart and in addition there were mounting problems at home. I felt I was at a dead end with no escape and cried out to God to save me from my miserable life.

One day in 2014, I was taking a walk at a park. A young man approached me and asked me, "Do you know why Jesus had to be nailed through His hands and feet and wear the crown of thorns?" I said, "I have already accepted the Lord and been saved. Do I need to know more specifically?" He then explained about the subject in detail and introduced to me Manmin Central Church and Rev. Jaerock Lee in South Korea.

It interested me, and I searched for Rev. Jaerock Lee on the Internet. I found his autobiography My Life My Faith and started reading it right away. I couldn't stop reading the book and finished the whole book at the spot. Since then, I went to Moldova Manmin Church. I attended all worship services, meetings and Daniel Prayer Meetings. I recovered my first love in faith and my thirst for the truth was being quenched.

I understood the core meaning of life while listening to the messages about why God created human beings and what we have to do to become the kind of God's child that God wants to get. I had attended church for 10 years in the past but I couldn't even pray for 2 minutes. Now, as I pray understanding God's will, I can pray much more and much more powerfully.

I realized the importance of circumcising my heart, which is to cast away sins and evil from my heart. And as I tried to do so, I can feel that I am being changed. Sometimes, I get pangs of conscience when I hear messages about casting away sins, but I can still rejoice with the help of the Holy Spirit who guides us to resemble the image of God.

I give thanks to our Senior Pastor who dedicates all his life to lead the souls to salvation in this sinful world. I give all thanks and glory to God the Trinity.
