The United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, marvelously accomplishing national evangelization and world mission efforts with the Five-fold Gospel of Rebirth, Sanctification, Divine Healing, Resurrection, and the Second Advent, held "The 18th General Assembly and Ordination" in the Main Sanctuary at Manmin Central Church, June 30 & July 1, 2008.
Following the first-part Opening Service on Day 1, the second-part Assembly began with the proclamation of the Declaration of the Assembly, acceptance of propositions and petitions, deliberations on the budget for the 2009 fiscal year, and ended with a time for all gathered to vow their heart for national evangelization and world mission efforts. On Day 2, Dr. Jaerock Lee, Chairman of the United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, officiated the Ordination for Esther K. Chung and Heejin Lee of Manmin Central Church and Samuel J. Han of Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church of Kenya, which was followed by the special performances by the Hallelujah Praise Team and the Nissi Orchestra of the Performing Arts Committee of Manmin Central Church.
In his message entitled "A Good Fight of Faith" (2 Timothy 4:7-8) during the Ordination, Dr. Lee urged each of the newly ordained pastors that in order to wage a good fight of faith the way did the apostle Paul, "You must possess patience and faith, and march onward as you fix your eyes on your heavenly rewards," and to "deny yourself completely and become pastors who magnify God and whom He commends by leading a life in which the Lord is the Master of your life."
