Church Welfare Counseling Center has been operational from this past June 9. Currently active social workers counsel the church members who are in need of social benefits and connect them with the actual government agencies that can help them.
The counseling varies from basic living expenses, various pensions, government supports, senior citizen care policies, child care services, etc. the office is located the opposite of New Comers' Welcoming Room (shared with legal office). The working hours are from 1:30 PM to 2:20 PM on Sundays, before and after Wednesday services, and before Friday all-night services. Telephone counseling is available during the weekdays (02-818-7093).
The Welfare Counseling Office is planning to open an Internet Café to post counsel cases and to share the government policies and benefits. They also plan to have presentation for all church members regarding the social welfare benefits.
