The 32nd General Assembly and Pastor Ordainment Ceremony of the United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ was held on June 27 at Gwangju Manmin Church.
The general meeting was held at 11 am, presided by Pastor Daehee Cho, and the Vice Bishop Dr. Soojin Lee delivered the message entitled, ‘The true servant of God’(2 Timothy 4:7-8).
After the service as the first part, the second part of the Assembly proceeded in the order of reading the opening statement of the General Meeting on behalf of Bishop Dr. Jaerock Lee, confirmation of the order, election of officers, receipt of proposals and petitions, and resolution of other agendas.
The Pastor ordainment ceremony was progressed at 3 pm with the presiding of Pastor Hakyoung Yim, the deputy secretary, and after a representative prayer by Elder Johnny Kim, Vice Chairman, Dr. Soo Jin Lee, the Vice Bishop preached the sermon entitled, “Power”(Mark 16:15-18) and she officiated the ordainment ceremony.
The candidates for the Pastor Ordainment on the day were Pastor Geumran Hwang from Manmin Central Church and Missionary Aleksandr Tabaranu from Moldova Manmin Church.
