On the 25th of July 1982, Manmin Joong-ang Church was founded with 9 members and 4 children. In two-and-half months, when we had the establishing service on October 10th, the number of church members had reached 100. For 23 years since its founding, it has followed the example of the Early Churches with the slogan "Arise, Shine". The church is fulfilling the tasks of national evangelization and world mission. It is testifying to the living God with life-filled messages and revealing God's power in signs and wonders. The celebration of the 23rd Church Anniversary and GCN Launch Celebration took place so that we could give all thanks and glory to God who has let us manifest the powerful works of God the Creator and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord.

A Video Presentation for Celebrating the 23rd Church Anniversary Eve, "Until the Lord Comes Again"

On Friday, October 7th the video presentation for the church anniversary eve celebration titled "Until the Lord Comes Again" touched the hearts of many viewers with spectacular scenes. Two days later, on October 9th the Manmin Festival took place for invitees including families, relatives, neighbors, and friends. There was a variety of programs of praise, exhibitions, galleries, thematic photographs, and food!



The 23rd Church Anniversary and GCN Launch Celebration Ceremony

During the Sunday Afternoon Service, the 23rd Church Anniversary and GCN Launch Ceremony were held. The GCN Launch Report was given by Mr. Nestor Colombo, the GCN Launch Celebration Address by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, Congratulatory remarks by Hon. Mr. Maximo San Roman, Former Vice- President of Peru. The Cake Cutting was done by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GCN, and representatives of special guests. The Launching Count-down for GCN was officiated by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, Mr. Boaz Lee, President, Manmin TV Inc., and Nestor Colombo, President, GCN.

A very high Quality Christian performance

In the third part of the afternoon service, a great performance entitled "Glory" was presented by 100 staff members and more than 500 performers. It was remarkably outstanding with wonderful praises, dances, performances and state-of-the-art special effects including water screening, vibrant pillars of light and laser-light show, and more. Through this performance we glorified God who has led Manmin Joong-ang Church through the past 23 years.

This celebration service and ceremony was attended by 130 special guests from 23 countries - church leaders who had been impressed by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee and his overseas crusades, directors and members of GCN, and members of WCDN.
