Beautiful Fruit of the 2002 India Miracle Healing Prayer Festival – Ministry in India Being Accomplished Successfully

The 2002 India Miracle Healing Prayer Festival with Dr. Jaerock Lee was held from October 10 to 13 at Marina Beach. It was attended by a total of an estimated 3 million people. The number was the biggest in Indian Christian history.

India has a population of 1.2 billion (which is the second biggest in the world) and over 80% of population believes in Hinduism. Hinduism is not just a religion but rather, it is nationalism itself. This is why Christianity wasn't able to show revival in this country. But the situation became totally different since the 2002 Miracle Healing Prayer Festival in India, and the number of Christians has experienced explosive growth. According to a Christian mission organization in India, the percentage of Christians was 2.3% in 2001 and increased to over 6% in 2005. 298 Branch and Associative Churches All over India Including Chennai Manmin Church and Delhi Manmin Mission Center

Chennai Manmin Church, under the pastorship of Pastor Joseph Han, was founded in November 2004. The church has followed the form of Manmin Central Church's worship services since its beginning. Most of the churches in India don't know about completely keeping the Sabbath day holy and don't even teach their members about it. But Chennai Manmin Church serves their members with Indian dishes at lunch time so the members are able to keep the Sabbath day holy by also attending the Sunday Evening Service. Since July 2007, they have been attending various worship services such as the Sunday Morning and Evening Services and the Friday All-night Service. These services are broadcast live through GCN-Manmin TV and now they can listen directly to the word of life being preached live from Manmin Central Church. They are gaining many blessings both in spirit and in flesh.
Starting with the 2002 Miracle Healing Prayer Festival in India, the ministry extended from Chennai in southern India to the central and even to northern India through local pastors' seminars held annually. As Manmin ministry extended, Delhi Manmin Mission Center (Pastor John Kim) was established to cover the Northern India region. They use the DVD titled 'The Power of God' containing healing testimonies with medical data, and in Nagaland, Northeastern India, GCN-Manmin TV programs are being broadcast for 24 hours a day through the satellite receiver set up in 10 cable broadcasting companies. Manmin's branch and associative churches in the states of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are also attending Manmin Central Church's worship services broadcast live through GCN-Manmin TV. Through local Pastors' Seminars which have been held since the 2002 India Miracle Healing Prayer Festival, the Handkerchief Healing Meeting (Acts 19:11-12) held in West Bengal with Pastor Mikyung Lee in 2006 and Pastors' Seminar with Rev. Dr. Esther Chung in Tamil Nadu State in 2007, overall there are now 293 churches that have registered as branch and associative churches. The branch and associative churches are located in 8 states in India such as Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka States of Central and Southern India, and West Bengal, Assam, Bihar States of Northern India. In many of these churches, the handkerchief meetings continue to be held. In addition, Manmin News is being translated into Tamil and Hindi and distributed to many people. Now India is accomplishing evangelism through Manmin with the holiness gospel and the power of God.

1. Vigorous Literary Mission

In June, 2003, the literary mission in India started through publishing and distributing Dr. Jaerock Lee's books in contracts with OM Books (the biggest Christian publishing company in India). Dr. Jaerock Lee's testimonial memoir Tasting Eternal Life before Death and his sermon series The Message of the Cross and Heaven I were published in English and Tamil. As the English version of Hell was published through Word of Christ, the second biggest Christian publishing company in India and the Hindi version of Hell through MSS Publishing Company in Delhi in 2009, the literary mission is being accomplished ever more vigorously. Also, Dr. Jaerock Lee's books are being distributed to neighboring countries of India such as Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Middle Eastern counties through Indian emigrants.

2. Medical Mission 'WCDN India' (World Christian Doctors Network)

At the 2nd WCDN International Christian Medical Conference held in Chennai, India in May, 2005, about 500 medical doctors from 11 countries participated and made presentations covering the cases of healing by the power of God and proved them medically. Since then, WCDN continued its ministry in India strengthening the evangelization of India. Seminars were held in Nagercoil and Tiruchirapalli of Tamil Nadu State, Hyderabad of Andhra Pradesh State, Trivandrum and Karakonam Medical College of Kerala State. In addition, they have preparatory meetings for seminars in New Delhi, the capital city, and they are awakening many medical doctors, scholars and others of the academia world with the power of God and the holiness gospel.

3. Indian Campus of MIS (Manmin International Seminary)

In India, there are many pastors who are ministering a church without studying theology at a seminary. This is one of the reasons that Indian churches couldn't experience revival and are spiritually stagnant. In January 2007, under the auspice of the Pentecostal Church Pastors' Association in Chennai and Madurai, Pastor's Seminars with Rev. Dr. Esther Chung were held in Chennai and Madurai. From that point on, Manmin International Seminary, India (MIS India) and the ministry in India started in earnest and they are now having one-and-a half-year theology education program. Currently, over 290 students including pastors and church workers are being educated. Pastor's seminars were held with Pastor Mikyung Lee in Tamil Nadu in November, 2008 and in Puducherry in December, 2009. They promoted Indian churches to experience revival.

4. Broadcasting Mission and Arulvakku GCN TV

About 4 years from 2003, Dr. Jaerock Lee's overseas crusades, message of sanctification and the power of God had been broadcast through SS Music (Southern Spice Music) of India. Also, Dr. Jaerock Lee's united crusades held in Russia, Peru and New York City of USA were broadcast live through Jain TV. India Manmin Mission Center and Chennai Manmin Church set up a satellite receiver and attended Dr. Jaerock Lee's united crusades held in Germany and DR Congo through live-screen viewing. Especially, many branch and associative churches in India attended 2009 Israel United Crusade with Dr. Jaerock Lee through live broadcasting or rebroadcast. Through the power of God transcending space and time, astounding works of healing were explosively manifested giving many pastors and members big faith.
Since March, 2009, Arulvakku TV(President: Pastor Vincent) based in Puducherry, Southern India has been broadcasting Manmin Central Church's worship services and GCN-Manmin TV programs for 7 hours a day through the ThaiCom5 satellite. Arulvakku TV is a leading Christian Cable TV covering 11 major cities in Puducherry and 6 cities of Tamil Nadu. In 2009, it changed its name to Arulvakku GCN TV and has continued to be actively participating in Manmin's broadcast ministry.
