The Second Stage of 'Take-off': 2000-2009

After the Founding Service in 1982, Manmin Central Church experienced rapid revival just like the early church did. In February, 1993, Manmin was selected as one of the "World Top 50 Churches" by the Christian World magazine of the United States. During the first stage of take-off, the church was established within God's providence, and we preached the holiness gospel earnestly and achieved great revival. Then, we began manifesting amazing works and by doing so, we became the Lord's witnesses who spread the power of the Holy Spirit to the remotest part of the earth.

In March, 2000, a work of creation took place: salty seawater in a well on the island of Muan in Jeonnam Province was changed into sweet drinkable water. In July, 2000, the world mission era dawned beginning with the Uganda Holy Gospel Crusade reported by CNN. In October, 2000, we preached the gospel with powerful works in the Pakistan United Crusade that was held in an Islamic country. Many people there were converted to Christianity and gave great glory to God.

In 2001, all kinds of diseases including AIDS were healed in the Kenya Holy Gospel Crusade. In the Philippine United Crusade, we proclaimed Jesus Christ though the country is predominantly a Catholic country.

In 2002, we conducted the Honduras Miracle Healing Crusade, which brought the 'tornado of the Holy Spirit' to Latin America. In India where majority of people are Hindus, we held the Miracle Healing Prayer Festival. It attracted a total of more than three million people and brought countless souls to conversion and healing.

In 2003, the door to the ministry of Middle East was opened. By conducting the Russia Miracle Festival, we spread the holiness gospel in more than 150 countries via 12 satellites, public television broadcasting, cable television, and the Internet.

In 2004, the holiness gospel was spread in the western European countries through the Germany Miracle Festival. The following Peru Healing Crusade was supported by the Peruvian president, political figures, journalists, and Christian societies. Moreover, WCDN (World Christian Doctors Network) and MIS (Manmin International Seminary) were organized in 2004 as well. We began to spread the holiness gospel and the work of power in earnest through Dr. Jaerock Lee's books.

In September, 2005, GCN TV, the church's TV station, broadcast its first program from a transmitter in the Empire State Building in the U.S. In October, 2005, with its official opening, the door to the broadcast ministry was open wide and it has made such noticeable development that it is now broadcast in around 170 countries.

In 2006, with active support of the government, we conducted DR Congo Miracle Healing Festival with 700,000 people in attendance. We also held the 2006 New York United Crusade in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The crusade was broadcast in more than 200 countries through satellites and public television.

In July, 2007, the three-year Israeli ministry commenced. We preached the gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit from Galilee in Northern Israel to Eilat, the southernmost area of the country. Through the ministry, the Israeli Christian society gained strength. Orthodox Jews as well as Messianic Jews joined our meetings.

In September, 2009, we finally conducted the Israel United Crusade in the ICC (International Convention Center), Jerusalem in Israel. Dr. Jaerock Lee boldly proclaimed the message entitled "Why Is Jesus Our Savior?" The crusade was featured in the Associated Press, Reuters, and other renowned broadcast media. It was aired in around 220 countries via 33 broadcasters. All of them were accomplished by all church members' prayer and devotion.
