In commemoration of Children's Day on May 5, 2001, Manmin Joong-ang Church's Performing Arts Committee held several performances at Yeouido in Seoul. To spread the Good News on the holiday, I also went to Yeouido with my coworkers. Many people had gathered to see the performances and I saw a young foreigner amidst the crowd. I handed him a flier and introduced to him Manmin Joong-ang Church and the works of God's power manifested through Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. That young man was the son of the Ambassador of Gabon to South Korea and his name was Rony. The following Sunday, he joined Manmin Joong-ang Church and after leading his Christian life for a while in Korea, he left for France to further his studies. Rony was soon introduced to Manmin's missionaries to France Paul Dae-woong Kang and Charonne Hana Kang and intervened so that Missionary Paul Dae-woong Kang would be able to preach at a church pastured by Rev. Serge. One of the following services was later attended by Rev. Pierre Luc, also of Gabon. Missionary Charonne Kang informed of "The 2006 Democratic Republic of the Congo Miracle Healing Festival with Dr. Jaerock Lee" held in February of that year to Rev. Pierre Luc, who attended it and was arranged to stay in the same hotel room with Rev. Dr. Myong-ho Cheong, Senior Pastor at Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya. Upon witnessing firsthand Dr. Jaerock Lee's great manifestations of God's power during the Festival, Rev. Pierre Luc requested that if Dr. Lee himself could not come to Gabon, at least send Rev. Dr. Myong-ho Cheong to his homeland. In the end, in June 2006 and March of this year, Rev. Dr. Cheong held two rounds of Church Leaders' Seminar and handkerchief crusade (Acts 19:11-12) in the Gabonese capital of Libreville. Gabon's Presidential aide Meviane Francine, who herself had attended one of the Church Leaders' Seminar and attended teeming grace, visited Manmin Joong-ang Church a few weeks ago. I cannot adequately describe how touched and moved I was to see the magnitude of God's work taking place through the preaching of the Gospel to one person.
