Are You Being Blessed as Promised?

In the Bible, the faithful God gives promises of blessings to His children. But some of them receive the blessing, while others don't. Some receive much whereas others receive little. Now let's delve into how to reap abundant fruit in the following three steps.

STEP 01 You Should Have Faith

"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

The kind of faith pleasing to God causes us to believe every word in all the 66 books of the Bible. Even if some biblical works seem impossible to happen, you should absolutely believe it. This kind of faith is spiritual faith that pleases God.

As said in Jeremiah 32:27 reads, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?" God created everything with His Word, and has controlled human history and their life, death, fortune, and misfortune.

If you truly believe it, you can completely believe His Word no matter what it is. It might sound impossible to happen in reality, but when God says, "I will do it," it will be done.

When you keep His Word in your heart and absolutely believe it, the faith you have will lead you to the blessings. Only through this God-pleasing faith can you experience His works and enjoy the blessings that He promised to give us.

If you yourself even witnessed and experienced His powerful works, you must completely believe His Word written in the Bible. You should believe His providence and hope that you will be a partaker in the fulfillment of His will.

Just as 1 Thessalonians 5:24 reads, "Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass," although you cannot do it with your own strength, God Himself will work for you when you rely on Him with faith. When you depend on God in everything with faith, you can bear abundant fruit.

STEP 02 You Should Show Faith in Your Deeds

"You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected" (James 2:22).

Abraham immediately obeyed when God told him to give his only son Isaac as a burnt offering. He did not give any excuse. He just believed in the good will of God. He had no misunderstanding or discomfort against Him. Moreover, he believed that God would be able to raise his son from the dead (Hebrews 11:17-19). He rather felt thankful to God for giving him such a command because it showed that He recognized his love for and faith in Him.

God watched Abraham and waited until the last moment when he took the knife to slay Isaac. Through the test on perfect obedience and faith, Abraham became the forefather of faith and completely received the blessings God had promised (Genesis 22).

If the Israelites had not crossed the sea, although Moses parted the Red Sea by prayer, they would have been seized by the Egyptian troop (Exodus 14). Even though the priests stepped in the flowing water of Jordan River and it stopped, if the Israelites had not crossed over the river following them, they could not have entered Canaan (Joshua 3).

It shows that even if you say you believe God's promise, only when you show the faith in works can you receive the blessing God promised (1 John 3:21-22). If you truly believe God-given vision and His promise, you should pray until His Word is accomplished (Ezekiel 36:37). God will accept your prayer, and as the answer He will show the way to achieve it and let you bear abundant fruit.

STEP 03 You Should Wait Patiently and Unchangingly

"Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary" (Galatians 6:9).

When the Israelites conquered the city of Jericho, God told them to circle it for seven days. If they had followed fleshly thoughts, they might have thought it was so dangerous to do so with no weapon. However, no one complained. They obeyed and circled it. And when they shouted, the city was destroyed. Without the deed of faith of all the Israelites, the city might not have been destroyed. To see the faith, God watched them until the last moment (James 1:6-7).

When God told the Israelites to conquer Canaan, they could not enter it right after the Exodus. They had to cross the Red Sea, Jordan River, and circled and destroyed the city of Jericho with faith (Joshua 6).

In the same manner, in order to receive God's blessing, you should completely believe and unchangingly show the faith by your works. Then, you can receive the blessings God promised, and He will receive the glory through you.

The almighty God works in such a way that transcends human imagination and ability. Even if it looks like nothing is happening in reality, if you unchangingly show works of faith, God definitely works for you. And when His appointed time comes, you will receive the answer in a short while.

Therefore, until the moment you receive the answer from God, you should completely believe the faithful God and His promise, show your faith with works, and wait patiently and unchangingly. Then, you will be able to reap abundant fruit.
