The five-fold gospel filled with life and spirituality and the powerful works of God begins to be broadcast in and around New York through an air TV CH 17 on the upcoming October 10th.
The Global Christian Network (GCN) has announced the opening of its headquarter offices in the Metro Atlanta area. The opening is slated for January 2005 when GCN will join television giants CNN, TNT, TBS Superstation, The Weather Channel, Cartoon Network, and other broadcasters as well as numerous Christian media ministries including In Touch Ministries, Leading the Way, and Back to the Bible who house their production and launch facilities in the Atlanta area. The GCN headquarters will be located in Loganville, on the northeastern corridor of the Metro Atlanta area. The Network purchased the facilities in November of 2004 and is scheduled to complete final preparations of the building for the January opening. The 10,000 ft.² structure is located on 2 acres of land and will accommodate administrative offices, production studios and broadcast facilities. All Network business will be conducted from this location including GCN's administration, distribution and affiliation relations, donor development, television production, programming development, marketing, public relations, promotions, and broadcast. GCN Executive Director, Nestor Colombo, affirms, "This is an exciting time for GCN. Mr. Nestor, who used to be chairman of HNRB Hispanic National Religious Broadcasters' Assembly and now has a strong assurance of the future of GCN, was appointed as the representative of GCN under the cooperation of Manmin TV and the starting of the broadcast of GCN has been urged by him and his staffs. At last the GCN broadcast starts on the upcoming October 10th through an air TV CH 17 of New York.
The fact that GCN begins to broadcast in New York that is the center of the world press has a special significance. Both cable TV and satellite TV are a pay broadcast to citizens, so they have some limited viewers, but in regard to an air TV channel, any citizen watch without payment or separate receivers. Air TV broadcast is a little inferior to the two other systems in the quality of picture and voice. However, the starting of GCN broadcast through an air TV is expected to play an important role in establishing the identity of GCN because it agrees with the heart of Father God who ants to save a more single of soul. The CH 17 programs are broadcast to New York and around New Jersey, and because it is relayed through CH 27, the number of its viewers is estimated to be 9 million. When GCN starts to broadcast through CH 17, it will be the only channel that will broadcast in and around New York 24 hours a day. In addition, if GCN broadcasts Pastor. Dr. Lee's ministry, it is expected to urge and publicize his next year's crusade that will be held in New York. The ministry of Pastor. Dr. Lee and GCN will give a strong impact on many worldwide press and broadcasters that have their agencies in New York. GCN tests its broadcast on the coming September 1st for the active opening of the next month October 10th. In addition to the CH 17, GCN steps into the cable TV ministry that covers the whole county of USA. From the 25th of July, it will broadcast three hours a day through a cable TV station, 'Cosmo Vision' that has main bases of Comcast, Time Warner and Character Cable and more than 5,500 viewers in 300 main cities of 38 states. And GCN sends out its broadcast to Asia including Japan, the Philippines, and Taiwan via the 'NSS-6' satellite to cover the whole Asia. Pastor. Dr. Lee, Chairman of the board of directors of GCN gave his speech at the meeting of the board of directors in the last June. He said the expansion of GCN networking every continent will be an effective tool for accomplishing a world mission and its fruit will be revealed soon." Today the world becomes filled with famines, disasters, and confusion and people cannot find a way-out out of that situation. All that can awaken and help them is the gospel and the power of God. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." The Great Commission of Jesus Christ has been given to us, and the competitive broadcasting station that will be able to accomplish it, GCN plays the role of a vanguard of broadcasting ministry.
