Deacon Jungkyu Lee (Daegu Manmin Church, South Korea)

I was guided to Daegu Manmin Church by my friend, but I didn't lead a proper Christian life. In 2010, after I got married, I offered up just the Sunday Morning Service and I didn't give whole tithe. In December 2010, when I had been married for nine months, my wife and I were faced with a great trial.
My wife Deaconess Minjung Kwon had an operation for a benign muscle tumor of the uterus and the doctor said it would be difficult for her to conceive a baby. In 2011, she got pregnant after many tries, but she had a miscarriage after two months. In the meantime, Manmin World Guidance Pastor Heesun Lee's 'Fullness of the Spirit' Prayer Meeting was held in Daegu Manmin Church.
We went to the prayer meeting and received Pastor Lee's prayer of the handkerchief of power for the conception of a baby (Acts 19:11-12). Not long after, we came to have a baby. We visited Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee in Seoul to receive his prayer for a safe delivery.
We told him we previously had had a miscarriage, and he said, "God protects Manmin members for sure not to have a miscarriage as long as they keep the Sabbath holy and give whole tithes". Afterwards, we kept his words in our hearts and practiced it and God finally gave us a daughter, Hayul in July 2012.
We also received blessing in our business. In May, 2011, I started a restaurant and named it '35 Salt-Roasted Meat' because I serve 35mm-thick-pork. At first, I gave around 200 to 300 dollars as a tithe but it constantly increased to 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and then 3,000 dollars. With a grateful heart for the God-given blessing, I began giving offerings for God's kingdom with joy.
As I tried my best to give offerings with faith, my daughter was healed of angiomas (a kind of benign tumors derived from cells of the vascular or lymphatic vessel walls). She had gotten angiomas on her nose and forehead and they had enlarged to 1cm and 3cm each. However, we offered up prayer of thanks, and as my wife and I grew up in faith the angiomas got smaller and disappeared.
In running my business, I tried to think from the customer's position and consider them. My restaurant offers Korean stew for free without limit. Also, on the meat served in my restaurant, we spray Muan Sweet Water—the sweet drinkable water that was changed from the salty sea water by Dr. Lee's prayer—and pray for customers to enjoy the meat and become healthy. My restaurant became known for serving good food, offering good service, and increased in popularity in the food alley in Jinpyeong-dong.
In October, 2012, I opened the second restaurant in In-dong. I received Dr. Lee's prayer of blessing in May, 2013. Since then, my tithe has been increasing month by month. My restaurant is becoming known through word-of-mouth and even some celebrities have visited. I am planning to open the third restaurant in December, 2013. My brother-in-law and parents-in-law also accepted the Lord seeing us receive blessing and make a happy family in peace. I give all thanks and glory to God who has been with me with such great blessings.
