Deaconess Eunju Kim, age 41, 16 Parish


I entered the College of Music at Yonsei University and majored in instrumental music. I started a part time job in a church as a trumpet player just as other students studying instrumental music did.

I graduated and taught playing the trumpet to students. At about this same time Deaconess Eunjung Kim who had attended the same college talked about the Nissi Orchestra of Manmin Central Church. I auditioned and was accepted. From April of 2002, I attended the church's worship services. I found the church quite different from other churches that I had attended during my college years.

The church pointed out our sins based on the Word of God in the Bible. I had honestly thought it would be very hard to live a believing life in this church. However, in January 2013, I suddenly wanted to lead a diligent Christian life!

I believe that this hope of mine was gained thanks to Dr. Jaerock Lee my Senior Pastor because he endured with a person like me for a long time and prayed for me with love and tears.

At the moment, I didn't have enough knowledge to understand his sermons, so I read twenty of his books. While reading them it dawned on me that this precious message causes the members to manage their Christian lives in hope and with happiness.

From May 2013, I began praying in the Daniel Prayer Meetings. I made up my mind to attend for at least thirty minutes every day. As I prayed, I increasingly felt the love of the shepherd. In the meantime I experienced the power of the living God and grew up in faith.

In July 2014, I was infected with shingles on my right arm. But after receiving Women's Mission's Guidance Pastor Rev. Heesun Lee's prayer, the blisters were gone next day and it was completely cured.

By Senior Pastor's prayer I was also healed of cholinergic urticarial (commonly referred to as 'hives'). It develops usually in response to exercise, bathing, staying in a heated environment, or emotional reactions. With its onset, I was too itchy to sleep, and I even had to sleep in the verandah because I felt itchier in a heated place. Its first onset occurred at a spot on my right arm but it was spread to three parts and later I got one on my neck.

My parish pastor advised me to prepare myself for Manmin Summer Retreat to be healed. As told, I offered up vowed prayer and finally left for Summer Retreat. On August 4 in 2014, during the seminar, I repented that I had been a churchgoer, not a believer although I had attended this church for ten years. And I offered up prayer of thanks for the love of God, the Lord, and the shepherd. Then I received Senior Pastor's prayer with my heart. Next morning, all symptoms disappeared and I was healed! Hallelujah!

My case of hives was caused by failure to maintain an equilibrium occurring due to a strong overreaction of autonomic nerve system. It affects people all their lives unless there is a physical change in their system. But I was healed of it by Senior Pastor's prayer and I was also healed of urinary incontinence that had troubled me after child birth.

Now my husband and son attend church together. I give all thanks and glory to God who restored my soul that was dead and had a hardened heart!
