Pastor Raymundo Candelaria, age 43, Golden Faith Church in the Philippines


It has been 19 years since I became a pastor. But until just two years ago, I had struggled between the Word of God and perceived reality when I tended my church members. In February 2015, Pastor Emmanuel Gonzales told me that a great seminar was going be held and I went.

Dr. Jaerock Lee's famous sermons "The Message of the Cross", "Lectures on Leviticus", and "The Measure of Faith" were delivered by Pastor Chanhyung Cho of Cavite Manmin Church. The message was very clear. After the seminar, I read Dr. Lee's books The Message of the Cross, Keep Watching and Praying, and The Measure of Faith. The contents are purely based on the Bible, which touched my heart so much.

The core is the answer to the question "Why is Jesus our only Savior?" And the holiness gospel puts an emphasis on the circumcision of heart done through throwing away sins and evil. It has taught me how to lead a blessed life by pleasing God and has given me hope for Heaven.

In August 2015, I participated in Manmin Summer Retreat with other pastors from the Philippines. At that time, a national heat wave warning was put in effect in Korea. However, it was very cool and refreshing at the retreat venue.

I experienced heavenly winds. I also saw swarms of dragonflies coming down, and a few of them sat on my body. I was also moved by the church members from in and out of Korea since they were united as one with love and served each other humbly.

I felt so thankful to God who guided me to Manmin Central Church. Back in the Philippines, a great change happened to my church and me. My prayer has been changed, and since I understood how to arm myself with the Word, I have tried to live by the will of God.

Moreover, I came to deliver the holiness gospel with more confidence. Many church members received grace and their Christian lives were renewed. Since then they have enjoyed many blessings in their lives. They feel very happy, and seeing their joy makes me happy as well.

Again in May 2016, I visited Manmin Central Church with pastors from the Philippines. Senior Pastor Dr. Lee's life deeply touched my heart. He always prays, serves his church members with his life, love, and sacrifices, and he gives all the glory to God with a humble heart.

I attended worship services, Daniel Prayer Meeting, and even the Manmin Prayer Center's meeting. I also went to Muan Sweet Water Aquarium where seawater fish and freshwater fish coexist. I came with my wife. She said she felt God's presence during Daniel Prayer Meeting. She felt as if she was being held in God's bosom. She said she prayed with tears in the Holy Spirit's fullness while she was listening to Manmin Praise.

I want to follow this beautiful example of Manmin Central Church. I give all thanks and glory to God who allowed me to meet the true teacher in this end time, hear the holiness gospel, experience the powerful works, and live for souls.
