Deacon Jongha Kim (age 47, 1-1 Parish)


I was the youngest among 2 brothers and 3 sisters in a very poor family. I got a job right after I graduated from my high school, and I lived diligently saving the most of what I earned for a better future.

In 1998, when I was 25, I became a member of Daejoen Manmin Church. Soon, I attended the “2 Week Special Revival Meeting” in Manmin Central Church in Seoul. There I received Dr. Jaerock Lee’s prayer for the sick, and I was healed of bronchitis and came to have faith.

I used to be prone to cold and stomach-upset, but I became healthy after I became a Christian. In 2000, I married to a woman who led me to God, and we had a son. I attended various services, and Daniel Prayer meeting. I served God in a choir, and drove cars for church members.

In 2013, my wife, Deaconess Yihaw Kim was healed of various diseases such as lymphadenitis, gonarthritis, dry eye, and many pains when she received Dr. Jaerock Lee’s prayer for the sick in the summer retreat.

In 2017, my family moved to Seoul for my son (Brother Taeho Kim), and all of my family registered to Manmin Central Church. In Divine Healing Meeting, February, 2019, my son was healed of atopic dermatitis and hyperhidrosis thanks to Pastor Soojin Lee’s handkerchief prayer. He receives scholarship every term. All the happiness that I am enjoying now is by the grace of God.

Last June, I experienced the living God again. I was working on the top of an elevator which was in the 3rd floor. The chain that was holding the elevator came untied, and the elevator fell down to the ground floor.

My co-worker fell down to the 1st floor along with the elevator. His spine got ruptured, and went to a surgery to hold his spine with metal pins. Mysteriously though, I was bounced off to the 3rd floor, and I was OK except some bruises. People around me thought it was very strange.

If my body had not been bounced off, but stuck in the elevator door, my body would have been cut in two, and lost my life.

Since I believe in God, I’ve been protected like this in this world which is full of accidents. I receive God’s blessings both in spirit and in flesh.

20 years ago, I had no hope, but a saving account. Since I met the Lord, I’ve never envied a rich man, but live a peaceful life with hope for heaven. I give all thanks and glory to good God, and to the Lord who saved me.
